Practical life is an area of the Montessori classroom that the child has seen in a home environment.
Mathematics + language
In the mathematics area, children learn numbers and are able to hold quantities in their hand. The language area begins with the spoken language of the prepared environment.
cultural
The cultural area consists of geography, history, arts, and science. Children have a natural interest in learning about new places in our world.
